SASC SI Mentors

Hey Community Members!

This is Zona and Anthony, you're Mentor/Volunteer Coordinators for the Southeast Asian Student Coalition's Summer Institute (aka. SASC-SI).

For all of you who do not know what SASC-SI is, it is an amazing 5 day
intensive summer program that brings Southeast Asian high school youth to
Berkeley. Here, they learn about *SEA hystory and contemporary issues*,
learn more about the *college experience*, and explore their *own
identities* and what they can do with their newfound knowledge through
workshops, peer-bonding activities, and community building!

Critical to the *EMPOWERMENT* of the youth, is the incredible effort put

forth by *MENTORS*--Berkeley students as well as other college students from
all around the nation! Coming from the experience as past mentors, this was
truly a life-changing experience for us and we highly encourage anyone even remotely interested to apply! THANK YOU!!!!

You can find the application on the SASC website (http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~sasc/).
